Meet: Jennifer Hirschhorn of Custom Cakes and Confections

5 02 2009

I recently met up Jennifer Hirschhorn of Custom Cakes and Confections for a tasting of her lovely cakes. After successfully beating cancer and looking to do something she truly loved, Jennifer decided recently to start her own business as a baker. You have to admire her for that! Shortly after meeting her, you can tell that she loves what she does and has fun experimenting with different cake flavors, combinations and techniques. Her cakes not only taste great but are a great value as they start at $4/slice. She is also willing to do faux layers. Not only is she good with wedding cakes, Jennifer also bakes cookies, cheesecakes, pies, and cupcakes for every occasion. Check out some of her work.

Love the black and white design but check out the firetruck groom's cake! Can you guess what the groom's profession is?
