Combining 2 things I love: tea and finding a cure for cancer. The Republic of Tea is joining forces with the Susan G. Komen and is offering tins of various teas where parts of the proceeds will be donated to SGK. Brides are always asking me for unique ideas on gifts to give their bridesmaids that are not too expensive but are sentimental. Here is a cute one. One of my friends from high school (whom I just reconnected with on Facebook) is a jewelry designer and has these really cute zodiac necklaces available in her Etsy shop. June Shin is a designer in Atlanta and creates these unique and delicate pieces. At $34 each, you can find your bridesmaid’s zodiac sign and they will remember you every time they wear the necklace!

My final wedding of the year as a guest was in August when our friend got married in Reading, PA. So the funny thing is that my college boyfriend lived in Reading and the last time I was there was 12 years ago. Anyway, back to this wedding. Thought I’d share some photos.

DC no longer requires a blood test to get a marriage license! Woo hoo! That law was so antiquated! I mean, syphilis? It was always such a cumbersome process too and you have to take a day off just to run the stupid forms back and forth! Read more about it here.
